Speech-Language & Feeding Therapy
Speech-language and feeding therapy to address a variety of needs including:

Receptive language-what a child understands

Expressive language-what a child communicates

Pragmatic language-appropriate use of communication in social situations

Articulation-how speech sounds are made

Fluency-the rhythm of our speech

Voice-how we use our vocal folds and breath to make sounds

Oral motor skills, pre- and post-frenectomy care, bottle skills and breastfeeding

Eating solids and drinking from a straw or open cup

Individual and group therapy sessions offered. Sessions typically last 30 or 45 minutes and include a brief discussion of session activities. We provide detailed session notes that include strategies for home/school practice. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to observe and participate in the therapy sessions.
